So, my family spent the last few days camping by a beautiful lake. We co-camped with a friend and several of his children. He is pro-life and goodness gracious, I haven't been exposed to a perspective like his for ages.

When I told him that some women experience coerced abortions, he scoffed and said, "What's that like? Does the woman say, 'I want to keep my baby but if you don't want me to, I guess I'll kill it?'"

When I opined that universities could help reduce the rate of abortion by creating policies to ensure that female students are not penalized by a decision to keep a child, he said, "Why should the university have to go out of its way because she got pregnant?"
