I think of men and women all over the country, going about their days with furrowed brow, sleeping fitfully, tossing and turning in their cozy beds, perhaps awakening from a nightmare to the sickening realization that it WASN'T a dream: It's true. It's really true that the federal government is about to make it illegal to stick a scissors into the skull of a 5-month old fetus so as to crush and liquify his or her brain.

Oh, the horror.
