In American Medical News: New Jersey ob-gyn wins informed consent case.

Pro-life attorney Harold Cassidy of the National Foundation for Life Litigation Project has filed a motion for reconsideration.

Plaintiff Rosa Acuna, who speaks English as a second language, was told by her abortionist that he was going to "remove a piece of tissue". The abortion was incomplete. Acuna continued to bleed and sought emergency medical attention. At that point, medical personnel told her that she was bleeding because "there are still baby parts inside". According to Acuna, that's the first time she understood what had happened.
