The January 2004 Vine and Branches from Rachel's Vineyard is now online.

The newsletter formally announces that Rachel's Vineyard is no longer a division of the American Life League.

It also has an interesting bit of news about Norma McCorvey:

Congratulations to Norma McCorvey - no longer Jane Roe! Norma McCorvey shares with us the following wonderful news: The name of Roe No More is NO MORE! The new name will be Crossing Over Ministry.

Norma shares: "This is what the Lord God gave me just two or three days from a Rachel's Vineyard Retreat - it went something like this: 'Norma, you are Crossing over. Come!' Yet another skin I take off to better the world and my mind, I can finally let go and take my last breath from this name!"
