The Alan Guttmacher Institute is stating that investing in "women's sexual and reproductive health" pays huge returns in medical benefits.

According to Dr. Sharon Camp, their spokeswoman, providing services around the globe for the 200 million women who "need them" would be costly, but it would prevent 1.5 million maternal and infant deaths.

I guess Dr. Camp is not counting the unborn children that would die from abortion. With over a million abortions in our country alone each year, I shudder to think of how many they would like to perform throughout the world, although she does state it would avert 52 million "unintended pregnancies".

What most people do not realise is that the Alan Guttmacher Institute is the research arm of Planned Parenthood and hardly unbiased.
