South Dakota lawmakers back a pro-life bill, from Life news:
South Dakota lawmakers in a state House committee overwhelmingly passed a pro-life bill late Thursday evening that will ban virtually all abortions in the state. Should the legislation win the approval of the full legislature and be signed by the governor, it will be taken to court and some worry it will be declared unconstitutional.
The South Dakota House State Affairs Committee approved House Bill 1191 on an 11 to 2 vote after four hours of contentious debate.
Several women who have had abortions urged lawmakers to ban abortions, and described the guilt and remorse they had after the abortion decision.
Personally, I do not believe this will hold up. Even if it did, it just brings it back to the states like pre Roe v Wade. In order for abortion to end there needs to be a human life amendment to the constitution...sooner or later it will happen as more and more women come forth.
Abortion was legalized on the premise that it was some wonderful good for women. Somehow this justifies the killing of the unborn. Now that science has proven the beginning of life and people are finding out abortion hurts women, the justification is flying out the window.
Society has been in denial about the millions who have died. Not just the babies but also the women who have died from legal abortion. If you visit
here, you can get a taste of the numbers. By people coming forward and challenging the lies we have been told for years about "freedom of choice", the truth is finally getting out and the truth will set us free.
