"New (and old!) 'Operation Outcry: Silent No More' members are now welcome to join in on the nationwide "state leader" conference calls, which are currently scheduled each 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, usually around 8 pm central standard time. Next call is this Thursday, August 26th at 8 pm CST.

These now will be called OOSNM National Conference (NC) Calls. In addition to having our state leaders participating, all parties involved with OOSNM are invited to 'attend.' Periodically we will host conference calls exclusively with our state leaders."

Membership costs nothing, includes pro-life women, men, even non-post-abortive supporters, and is strictly confidential. Now that the need for news conferences has subsided for awhile, most of the current members from Connecticut are "involved" only in spirit and in prayer (i.e., not physically going anywhere or publicly saying/doing anything).

I can't stress this enough that this kind of minimal involvement is perfectly fine and wonderful. We understand better than anyone how impossible it is to "go public" especially if you have young children, spouses, relatives, co-workers and friends of any kind or age who don't know about your abortion and/or about your grief over it.

But there is so much more that can be done, that I wish I could do, if someone is interested in hearing the examples of the many great things that are being done around the nation in other states, and just praying for the healing of more and more women and men.

Anyone from Connecticut who's interested can email me at AfterAbortionBlog@yahoo.com.

If from any other state, you can email Queta Aguilar at eaguilar@txjf.org. She'll email you agendas, the phone numbers and passcodes.

These are extremely informative calls, lasting one to two hours. You can ring in for 15 minutes or for the whole call, whenever you are able. One need only introduce oneself by name and then just listen. No need or pressure to say anything. They are not toll-free however, so there is a cost.

Your email and other contact info is kept totally confidential within the OOSNM group.
