Those Brits.

SACKED BORIS WILL BE BACK.

Allies and admirers of Boris Johnson have predicted a swift return to front-bench politics for the maverick Conservative MP.

Shadow defence secretary Nicholas Soames insisted the political career of his "great personal friend" was not over following party leader Michael's Howard's decision to sack him.

The shadow arts minister lost his job following fresh details of his alleged affair with columnist Petronella Wyatt.

Married father-of-four Johnson previously dismissed reports of a liaison as "piffle".

But he was contradicted by her mother Lady Verushka Wyatt. She claimed her daughter had become pregnant and had an abortion after Mr Johnson tried to rekindle the affair.
Should we start calling babies "piffles"?
