The 'Joy' of Abortion is Dawn Eden's response to The Fetal Frontier.

Read both links.

The Fetal Frontier, in the Village Voice, chronicles a battle over strategy in the pro-choice movement that centers around whether the pro-choice movement would be better off if it followed the recent advice of Frances Kissling of Catholics for a Free Choice. Kissling says that the pro-choice movement needs to recognize the moral seriousness of abortion, and that in an abortion, something is lost. A number of hardcore abortion rights activists disagree with her take.
