Polls done by The Elliot Institute show that a majority of voters believe that abortion causes emotional problems. Why do voters think that? The mainstream media rarely discusses the emotional aftermath of abortion. This blog entry is by a high school student. She is talking about her math teacher, a man who is known among his students to be "messed up" because years ago his prom date got pregnant and had an abortion. Many of us know someone who is "messed up" after an abortion. I suppose that's why voters show an understanding of the emotional risk of abortion in spite of a mainstream media blackout on the subject.
