Not only did the Associated Press pick up the story, but FactCheck.org appears to have responded to my July 9 email to them about Sen. Barbara Boxer's "False Statistic", or as we referred to it, her urban legend perpetuation.

(I'm terribly late in picking up on this, what with technically being "on sabbatical.") But it's well worth the read as they pick up on falsehoods from both sides of the abortion issue.

I'll write to the good folks at FactCheck.org about their suicide and child abuse information though. There are many studies they really need to know about...
