Another military services doctor is being falsely charged for his pro-life beliefs and a friend has put out the call for friends and well-wishers to help, if you're so inclined:

Army Doctor, Dr. Cudihy, faces persecution

To all:

An Army Doctor, Dr. Damon Cudihy, is being harassed and falsely charged for his pro-life beliefs on contraception. He is a third-year OB/GYN resident at Brooke Army Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He is a Catholic who does not prescribe artificial birth control.

Currently, his program director and staff have decided to terminate him from the residency. Damon is married with two small children. This will do irreparable harm to his career and family. The final hearing and decision is Nov.17. The charges against him are false and based on hearsay. They have even removed him from patient care during this process. Please act now to voice your opinion.

Since the beginning of his training he has had an uphill battle in a biased setting. He has consistently been rated as the lowest Ob/Gyn performer in his OB rotations but in rotations like Emergency Medicine he was found outstanding. His fund of knowledge has been rated below average by his OB staff, even though he scored the highest in his Intern class on the National In-service Exam.
