Pulling a "Georgette".

The story has it that the idea for Silent No More came to Georgette Forney four or five years ago when she happened to pass by an outdoor rally celebrating abortion rights. On the spur of the moment, she made up a sign that read "I Regret My Abortion" and held it up off on the side for the duration of the event.

There was a pro-choice rally in Seattle on Sunday, and two women there decided to pull a georgette.

I'm awfully sure I wouldn't have the nerve to do that.

Here's their story,
more of their story and here, a response to a pro-choice blogger from Seattle who saw them at the event and was miffed.

I have these photos myself (thanks, Mary) but haven't been able to successfully post them.

Those SNM women are pretty cute, aren't they?
