This isn't the first time we've helped put out such a call that resulted in an outpouring of offerings of help. Last time was in September 2004, and by February 2005, we heard from the CPC helper, Geri, that the mom who had been at first set to abort her child with Down Syndrome, had changed her mind after receiving over 600 emails of support and offers of help and adoption from multiple blog readers like all of you... and her unborn baby was now born:

I've met with baby Kristy, and she is wonderful! She was born on January 5, and is cute as a button.

She has no heart problems, and no hearing problems. Mom is madly in love with her daugher, and grandma and aunt and uncles also adore her. Mom is so very glad that others showed the worth of her baby before she could even begin to love her.

I thank you all so very much for your outpouring of love for this family. God continue to bless you and yours.
