We wrote earlier about the Tell Them I Love Them conference in Minneapolis/St. Paul coming up in November for those suffering after abortion.
Kim Jeffries, a radio personality from the Twin Cities, started Tell Them I Love Them about eighteen months ago. She wrote to us after our story:
I just saw your post on our conference in November and I thank you for that. We are very pleased to be able to welcome people back to the Lord's house after abortion, and it is of interest that the licensing boards for counselors in our state have approved our content for continuing education credit. Dr. Theresa Burke was kind to share with me the process for obtaining the approvals when she spoke at our event last year, and again this year, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, and Psychologists may all obtain credit for attending. (Evidently the Minnesota Board of Psychology sees a need not recognized by the APA!) New this year--we will end the day with an ecumenical memorial service to give honor and dignity to the unborn.
We are still seeking stories from women willing to tell how God has healed them after abortion. If you are willing to have your voice and first name on radio and the internet you can send your story here.
The program is titled, "Life Redeemed" and it begins October 4th M-F at 10:30 a.m. on KTIS 98.5 FM in the Twin Cities. We will archive the programs at Life Redeemed. You can listen live online at KTIS weekdays at 10:30 a.m. Central. You can also go to the KTIS website and from the "On the Air" dropdown menu click on "Listen Online".
We need your prayers that God will provide a national network and sponsors for this program.
Thanks for the great work you do! Blessings in His Name.
Kim Jeffries
