Article cites numerous studies from medical journals/experts including Adolescent and Family Health, Journal of Adolescent Health and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control.

"Waxman’s report denies the well-established correlation between teen sex and increased risk of attempted suicide."
