Jim at Pro-Life Blogs is going to start a Pro-Life Carnival. We mentioned this before, and some of our readers wanted to know what a Carnival is. Go here for this week's main blog Carnival, to get a clear idea. You'll find lots of great stuff there.

I used to avoid covering general news of interest to the blogosphere, since so many of our readers come here from abortion-pain related Google and Yahoo searches and possibly don't even know what a blog is. Yet there are stories that come up from time to time that are of general interest to anyone who blogs, and I think I'll start mentioning them.

In this morning's case, Batesline, a blog that covers news in Oklahoma and often criticizes a daily newspaper there, was sent a threatening letter by that newspaper ordering Batesline to remove any links to the newspaper's website. Michelle Malkin says Can you spell U.N.H.I.N.G.E.D.? and Wizbang sends a letter-to-the-editor. Not one I'd like to get.
